The Jewish Community Center of Houston Symposium: Lifelong Learning Institute presents Planes, Trains, Ships...Keeping Houston Running. Tuesdays, Oct. 5, 12, 19 & 26, 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM.

Transportation makes our city go round. In this class you will learn about four modes of transportation that keep our economy running and how safety is assured. Class topics will include air traffic control, the history of railroad commerce, marine traffic, and what part the coast guard plays in keeping the Port of Houston protected and how it controls large cargo vessels.
