    Co-Cathedral of The Sacred Heart presents the Blessing of the Animals (in honor of St. Francis of Assisi), Saturday, October 2.

    Bring your family pets to be blessed by Co-Cathedral's Fr. David Garnier - we will assemble on the west side of the Cathedral, on the Fannin side in the semi-circle driveway.

    Safety first, of course, dogs on leashes, and so on. Also, since we'll be outside,...

    Co-Cathedral of The Sacred Heart presents the Blessing of the Animals (in honor of St. Francis of Assisi), Saturday, October 2.

    Bring your family pets to be blessed by Co-Cathedral's Fr. David Garnier - we will assemble on the west side of the Cathedral, on the Fannin side in the semi-circle driveway.

    Safety first, of course, dogs on leashes, and so on. Also, since we'll be outside, make sure any animals that require special carriers or leashes per City of Houston regulations are thusly accommodated.

    For those with a Saints Calendar, we are aware that the official Feast Day for Sr. Francis of Assisi is the 4th of October, however, it works better for scheduling to conduct this on a Saturday!
