Aurora Picture Show and Spacetaker present The Best of the Fest! Children's Film Festival Seattle 2010, Saturday, December 4, at 4PM. Location: Spacetaker, 2101 Winter Street in Winter Street Studios. FREE ADMISSION.

A gutsy mouse who joins the circus, a sweet kitty who adopts an egg and a girl who soars away on a paper airplane -- these are just a few of the memorable characters you'll meet in this big-screen presentation of "The Best of Children's Film Festival Seattle 2010." The program features award-winning animated, live action and documentary films that will make you laugh, tug at your heartstrings, and take you on a sweet ride through a wide world of moving images.

Spacetaker will host a kid's art workshop starting at 2PM where children of all ages are invited with their parents to get messy and explore different art materials.

Crafted by Elizabeth Shepherd, the Northwest Film Forum's Children's Film Curator, Children's Film Festival Seattle includes gentle programs for tiny first-time movie-goers, chills and thrills for older, more adventurous viewers and films that will inspire young people to get involved and make a difference. What better way to spend the day than to come together in community to see international films made for the next generation of movie lovers?

Spacetaker is a professional organization that provides artists and non-profits access to economic, education and networking opportunities.
