The University of Houston - School of Theatre & Dance presents Richard III, by William Shakespeare.  Directed by Jack Young.  Running Thursdays-Sundays, October 29 through November 7.

Richard, Duke of Gloucester, bitter over his physical deformity and disenchanted with the current atmosphere of peace, plots to become the King of England. Using manipulation, deceit and even murder, Richard ascends to power, removing anyone in his way. Rumors soon tell of a growing force with one purpose – to challenge Richard for the throne. In a dream the ghosts of the murdered confront Richard with foreboding news – he will die in battle.

Even Richard, powerful and hated can’t stop the inevitable restoration of peace.
