Betz Art Gallery presents The Twelve by Twelve Show, featuring the work of more than 50 artists.

Artists love challenges and many art galleries take that into consideration when planning exhibitions. Some art shows have specific themes. Others have specific media or subjects. And some have specific color or size requirements in order to create a memorable artistic experience. Such is the case of "The Twelve by Twelve Show" at Betz Art Gallery which will be on view through Dec. 28. NEW CLOSING DATE:  Wednesday, November 24.

In this exhibition, which is open to all artists from around the world age 18 years or older, work was submitted that was limited in size to a 12-by-12-inch gallery-format canvas. The result is a feast for the senses, with work ranging from the sublime to the silly to the cleverly humorous to the breathtaking. Set to open on Saturday, November 6, with the opening reception scheduled from 6-9 p.m., "The Twelve by Twelve Show" is a juried exhibition featuring the work of more than 50 international, national and local artists.

Ten "Best of Show" positions will be awarded and will receive guest artist privileges for one month at Betz Art Gallery, with the dates to be mutually agreed upon between the artist and gallery. "Best of Show" winners will be included in a catalogue that Betz Art Consulting, a subsidiary of Betz Art Gallery, will be publishing and mailing out to thousands of designers, architects, and art consulting companies throughout the United States.
