Mildred’s Umbrella Theater Company presents The Glass Slipper Gala! Saturday, November 6 at 6:00pm - November 7 at 12:00am. Location:  The Alley Theatre, 14th Floor 615 Texas Avenue. Your Fairy Godmother invites you to sprinkle on some fairy dust and party ‘til you turn into a pumpkin!

Mildred’s Umbrella Company members are planning a magical night with characters from every fairy tale imaginable (the darker, the better!), so patrons are encouraged to dress up in the spirit of their favorite story.

Mildred’s Umbrella is steadily growing with a dedication to the growth of Houston’s theatre community. One night a year we kick up our heels to promote the growth of MU in an annual fundraiser. As our audience grows, the party gets bigger. There will be live entertainment from local musician, John Watt, door prizes, games, activities, a silent auction, food from Prego Restaurant, Vodka from Dripping Springs Vodka, St. Arnolds Beer and Silver Eagle Beer, Wine and, of course, a costume contest with prizes for the magical characters we know will show up!

The party will be held at The Alley Theatre Board Room and Balcony, 615 Texas Avenue 77002, 14th Floor, on November 6, 2010.

Parking is $5 in the garage, or free on the street after 6pm. Advance tickets are $25.00 (on our website via paypal) or $40.00 at the door.
