    ArtCrawl Houston presents the 18th Annual Artist's Warehouse ArtCrawl, Saturday, November 20, 10am-9pm.  The original cluster of artists warehouses in Downtown Houston annual open studios Artcrawl Houston 2010

    Over 100 Artists will once again open their working art studios, exhibition and live in spaces to the public for the 18th Annual Artist's Warehouse ARTCRAWL, Saturday, November, 20, 2010, from 10 am. to 9 pm. Maps are available at Motherdog Studios -ARTCRAWL.Houston headquarters.

    Go green is our theme so visitors are encouraged to hike and bike to see the art in this diverse historical neighborhood of Houston that includes the 1923 McKee Street Bridge and the adjacent, recently renovated Baker Street Railroad Bridge.

    New this year, ARTCRAWL, FOTOFEST and PedalHouston have come together to offer the public a bike tour of ARTCRAWL2010.(www.fotofest.org/bikescramble). FotoFest, ArtCrawl, and PedalHouston have come together to offer the public a bike tour of ArtCrawl 2010. The Bike Scramble will visit several spaces and tour with local artists and curators. Starting at the FotoFest Gallery, from 10:30am-6:45pm. The tour allows time for photo-ops and participants’ images will be included on the FotoFest webpage.

    New artists & warehouses on the ARTCRAWL.HOUSTON : Canal Street Studios (all women's creative complex.) & the Talaquepaque Market (East End Studio Gallery).

    The landmark Last Concert Cafe will open early at 11:00 am. to accommodate hungry and thirsty ARTCRAWLERS. Artist/chef Sean Carroll will be folding his crepes in a surprise location. New nibbles and libations in the neighborhood include the petite “Latin Bites Cafe” and the local grand masters of microbreweries: St. Arnold's. The new hours of operation offer four more hours of daylight for visitors to explore the sights and sounds of Houston's original and official ARTCRAWL neighborhood cluster of warehouses.

    Since 1992, the tradition of the artists "open studios" takes place on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Visitors have the opportunity to pARTicipate in the live/work/show spaces of these neighborhood"urban pioneers". The mission of the ARTCRAWL is to assists the public in understanding contemporary art by directly involving the visitors in a dialogue with local artists in the Artist Warehouse District of Downtown Houston.
