Goode's Armadillo Palace is proud to welcome Cody Riley and William Clark Green (Acoustic Show).

William Clark Green - With honest and personal lyrics, William Clark Green’s music lures-in and relates his audience to real-life inspiration. Growing up in small-town Flint, Texas, Will started writing at thirteen. After some practice and encouragement, Will opened for The Dragliners in College Station. However, being only fourteen at the time, he forgot almost all the lyrics to his diligently-rehearsed show. But, with free guitar lessons at his hometown church and local shows, Will became more confident and prepared for larger venues.

As a freshman at Texas Tech, Green got the chance to play the Monday-night spot at Recovery Room, eventually working his way up to the headlining show on Thursday nights. Friend and fellow songwriter Josh Abbott helped Green get his foot in the door at Blue Light in Lubbock, Texas. After playing many acoustic shows, Green started a band and recorded his first CD, “Dangerous Man,” that released September 18, 2008.

Will continues to play shows frequently across Texas.

Cody Riley -  (pictured above) Up and coming singer-songwriter Cody Riley has lived a long life as an artist to be only seventeen years old. He started playing guitar at age five, wrote his first lyrics at seven, and played in his first band at eight. Cody played bass guitar when he was eight years old for his older brother Chris, then played rhythm and vocals in a duet group with Chris for The CCRiley Band.

Now, Cody is the front man for The Cody Riley Band. Cody's musical ability will make you want to move to the music, while his lyrics will leave you wondering just how a seventeen-year-old writes with the wisdom of an artist three times his age. His first E.P. release in August of 2007 was just another stepping stone to the top. With producer Rodney Pyeatt stepping in to lend a hand on lead guitar as well, it was bound to be a success. Following the release of that E.P., SHORT BUS, the band hit the road to do what they have always loved to do: play music.

Cody just finished his New CD, SMALL TOWN ROCKSTARS. Cody and the Band have no doubt that this new CD is a reflection of all the hard work over the last year. The Cody Riley Band claims their number one goal for the remainder of this year and next is to play as many shows as possible and get the new CD SMALL TOWN ROCKSTARS into as many hands as possible.

Be on the lookout in January for the new single MEMORIES. Get ready to call your local stations and request it!
