After triumphant performances in September the stars of the Moores Opera Center at the University of Houston return with an all-new benefit celebration in a death-defying evening of opera arias and songs from musical theatre. Hosted again by MOC director Buck Ross in his trademarked amusingly ironic style, the walls of the Mucky Duck are still vibrating from our last performances.

What’s Opera, Duck?  is a benefit celebration featuring the stars of the Moores Opera Center at the University of Houston singing their hearts out in a sparkling evening of opera arias and songs from musical theatre. The Moores Opera Center is one of the country’s largest university opera programs. Presenting 4 major productions annually in the spectacular Moores Opera House, its loyal audience always looks forward to a season of creative productions of imaginative repertoire sung by energetic casts on their way to big careers.
