November 20, 2010
Add Review/Comment
In conjunction with the 18th Annual Artist's Warehouse ArtCrawl, Elder Street Artist Lofts residents will open their lofts / studios / spaces to visitors for an opportunity to view or buy their artwork and to engage in a dialogue on local art.
There will be guided artist tours of the lofts starting at 12pm and 3pm. Be sure to come out and support your local art scene and artists!
Later that evening there will also be an 8:00pm rooftop multimedia poetry performance featuring poet Radames Ortiz and electronic music composer Jonathan Jindra.
A DJ set by Midmir (Jonathan Jindra, Frank Dambra) will immediately follow the performance.
So, come hang out with a bunch of artists at one of Houston's historical buildings to experience some multimedia poetry and meet great local artists while enjoying the downtown skyline.
Artcrawl Elder Street is located off of Houston & Washington Ave. in First Ward.
