Andy Mann Video Tree Revived: A trailblazing figure in American video art, Andy Mann lived and worked in Houston, inspiring an entire generation of artists. His “Video Tree” was a Downtown holiday highlight for ten years now revived at Discovery Green. Stacked televisions stream his original video content through multiple effects.

Special thanks to the City of Houston Initiative Program through the Houston Arts Alliance, Thomas Pascal, Will Robinson in honor of Ann and James Harithas and the efforts of Isaac Cohen, Maurice Roberts, Ted Viens and Aurora Picture Show.

Through the Eyes of a ChildThrough the Eyes of a Child features glowing ornaments in the live oak trees along the Brown Foundation Promenade. The 28, five-foot-diameter globes are internally-lit by energy-efficient fluorescent lights and bring to life color photographs taken by students under the direction of David Graeve created in partnership with Buffalo Bayou Art Park.
