KIDS + FAMILIES

Children of all abilities are invited to participate in the 14th Annual Texas Children's Hospital Kids' Fun Run, presented by BDK, LLP. The non-competitive 3K and 1K is the kickoff to the Chevron Houston Marathon weekend giving all participants the opportunity to cross the official marathon finish line.

12:00 p.m. - Kids' Fun Run Expo opens, 3K race begins
12:15 p.m. - 1K race begins
2:15 p.m. - Expo closes

Who May Participate
All children ages 5-15 years (Grades K-8), including children with special needs, are invited to participate in the 3K Run or Walk. Children with special needs may also choose to participate in the 1K Adaptive Run or Walk.

Chevron Houston Marathon Connection
The 2011 Kids' Fun Run is the kickoff event for the Chevron Houston Marathon weekend. The race course covers a portion of the actual marathon course and all participants finish their run by crossing the official Chevron Houston Marathon finish line.

School Group Registration

Race fees will be waived for schools registering student groups K-8th grade. Coaches and chaperones must accompany school groups. We recommend 10 students to at least 1 chaperone.
