Friday, January 7, following the 12:10 Mass, The Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, in conjunction with the University of Houston's Moores School of Music, presents An Opus XIX Education Programme, the First Friday Opus XIX Pipe Organ Recital Series.

Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart will welcome Daryl Robinson, (pictured) a student at the University of Houston. At the conclusion of the 12:10 PM daily Mass, Daryl will host a free 30 minute recital on the Opus XIX Pipe Organ.

Please note that the 12:10 Mass is not as long in duration as a normal Sunday Mass, as the daily Mass often ranges 30-40 minutes.

Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart recognizes that some Opus XIX Pipe Organ events will occur during Mass. Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart is first and foremost a Catholic Parish, and the Opus XIX is first and foremost an instrument used during worhsip. Thus when an event occurs during a Mass, you are not obliged to take Communion. We only ask that you respect the Mass and enjoy the musical experience.
