The Improv Comedy Showcase and Restaurant presents The Whiskey Brothers.

The Whiskey Brothers - four guys from Texas hell bent on not just voicing their opinions, but having a great time in the process. All headliners in their own rights, they come together like a comedic Voltron to bring you an unforgettable night of whiskey, mayhem, and jokes.

The Reverend Rob Mungle - the founding member, has been performing standup for fifteen years. He has performed everywhere, from sold out theaters to seedy strip clubs and everything in between. He has voiced characters in virtually every anime on the market, and takes the stage with an aggression that would scare you if it weren’t so ridiculously funny.

John Wessling - a Houston native freshly returned to his home soil after an eight year stint in the City of Angels. He is one of only 3 comedians who has ever performed in all 50 states in 50 consecutive days. In 2003 John was a semi-finalist on Last Comic Standing's second season and then a stand-out performer in the New Faces showcase at the 2004 Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal. John performed in the Comedy Central Roast of Jeff Foxworthy, as "Johnny Foxworthy", Jeff's younger brother from prison, and in 2006 appeared in the first season of Comedy Central's "Live at Gotham".

Slade Ham – a globetrotting international headliner that has taken the stage in 22 countries on four different continents. He was telling jokes in Germany two weeks after 9/11, he’s hopped from base to base across Japan and Korea for the Air Force, and has been dropped off by Blackhawk helicopter to do spontaneous sets for soldiers in the Iraqi desert. Slade also directed in starred in the short film "A Fist Full of Pills" and it lost to Kevin Pollack at the Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival and is a regular on The Bob & Tom Show. You even saw him in ring at Wrestlemania XXV. That last part is a lie.

Sam Demaris – winner of Houston’s Funniest Person in 2002, and also the hard rocking, Motorhead loving, dreadlocked black guy. His brand of storytelling comes complete with a bottle of Jack Daniels and a battery pack that never runs out of energy.

It’s a show that will kick you in the teeth and make you love it. Don’t miss The Whiskey Brothers. It’s like drinking with your friends… if only your friends were this funny.
