Inprint's First Friday Poetry Reading Series presents Robert Wynne, Fort Worth poet, Friday, May 6.

Robert Wynne holds an MFA in Poetry from Antioch University, and is the co-founder and co-editor of Cider Press Review, an annual poetry journal in its 4th year. The author of 4 chapbooks, most recently What the Body Knows (2002, Pudding House Press), he has received the Grasslands Review Editor's Prize and the Masters Poetry Prize, and won the Academy of American Poets College Award and the Poetry Super Highway Online Poetry Prize twice each.

His work has been published in poetry journals throughout the United States, including Solo, Poetry International, Two Rivers Review, Rattle, Art/Life and Spillway. His work has also appeared in 2 Black Moss Press Anthologies in Canada: Henrys Creature: Poems and Stories on the Automobile (2000) and Smaller Than God: Words of Faith and Inspiration (2001), and he has a poem forthcoming in the University of Iowa Press Anthology Red White & Blues: Poetic Vistas on the Promise of America.

He lives in Fort Worth with his wife, daughter and 2 rambunctious dogs.

Inprint is proud to serve as a host for the First Friday Poetry Reading Series. The First Friday Series is the oldest poetry series in Houston and has been held monthly at Inprint House, 1520 West Main,  one block south of the Menil Collection, one block east of Mandell, in the Museum District of Houston, on the first Friday of each month since 1975.
