Goode's Armadillo Palace is proud to welcome Randy Meadows & Erin Eder.

Randy Meadows was born in Jacinto City, Texas on October 15, 1959. Growing up in Pasadena, Texas he was more noted for his baseball skills than his music. In 1979 he was reunited with his father Bucky Meadows - legendary pianist and guitarist most noted for his work with Willie Nelson.

Randy's focus soon shifted from baseball and he began his career in music by organizing the band "Tumbleweed Connection", touring New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado and Texas, until they disbanded in 1987. Randy then became the lead singer of the "Straight Up Band", a popular Houston based group that performed at nightclubs, festivals, hotels and weddings.

The 90's began with him doing theatrical productions of "The Best Lil' Whorehouse in Texas" and "Patsy Cline, Always." He then began doing appearances with The Ronnie Renfro Big Band (an 18-piece orchestra) as a guest singer and guitarist.

Also during this time, Randy wrote, recorded and produced his first album, You've Been Kind of Cold. Soon after, he co-produced The Moving Men,an album with other talented Houston artists and musicians. In 1998, he began touring with recording artist, Doug Supernaw as his guitarist.

He has recently released a new album Family Portrait which includes guest appearances by Willie Nelson and legendary musician Bucky Meadows. Randy has also assigned himself the duty of writing a movie script entitled "Fools Gold", a true Texas western. Look for Randy to continue into the new millennium writing and producing new products to add to the Sound of Texas!

Erin Eder (pictured above) was introduced to music at an early age singing along with oldies on her mother’s car radio. By the age of ten, she graduated to musicals and began singing at local festivals and talent shows. At the ripe old age of fourteen, Erin eventually found herself on the main stage at the Katy Rice Harvest Festival, performing her first recorded singles, “Crazy for You” and “Drifter” written by William Matthews and Mason Granade.

While performing professionally in local clubs and private parties, Erin was introduced to country music by Houston entertainer and songwriter Randy Meadows. With his talent and expertise, Erin began entertaining crowds with her upbeat renditions of “Mustang Sally” and “Johnny B. Goode”. It did not take long for Randy’s respect for Willie Nelson and his music to rub off on Erin. Suddenly, Erin began performing a different kind of “Crazy”. Erin’s interpretation of “Since You’ve Been Gone” written by Randy Meadows is a perfect example of how country music has enriched her level of vocal performance. Erin Eder’s rich vocals have been compared to Leanne Rimes and legendary Patsy Cline.

Erin Eder’s strong, sultry voice breaks through to compliment her upbeat country music with a lot of soul. She is determined to prove that a big star doesn’t have to come from big glamorous, far away places, and plans to follow the footsteps of other local celebrities like Clint Black and Renee Zellweger and become the next big thing to come out of little Katy, Texas!

Recently, Erin signed with Tate Music Group and has recorded "Breakthrough" a complete album featuring music written by local entertainer Randy Meadows. Music by Katy songwriter, Floyd Callen and New Orlean's blues artist Burton Gaar will also be highlighted on the album.

With a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Sam Houston State University, Erin plans to continue performing professionally throughout the state of Texas and beyond.

Currently, you can find Erin performing in the surrounding Houston area with Randy Meadows.
