Jesse Dayton’s music effortlessly encompasses the diversity of Texas’ musical heritage. According to the Austin American-Statesman, “Dayton is the possessor of a tear-stained voice, a lost soul sensibility and probably a high degree of familiarity with the kinds of places mama warned you about.”

Originally hailing from Beaumont, Dayton was first exposed to classic honky-tonk and Lone Star blues, followed by contemporary rock and punk during his teenage years. An early ambition to sing and perform led Dayton to form the hard-driving rockabilly band the Road Kings 1980’s, followed by the alt-country group Alamo Jets in the 1990’s.

As a solo artist, Dayton has released six recordings, sharing the studio with country legends Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings and Ray Price, among many others. In 2009, after being commissioned by musician and movie director Rob Zombie to write, produce and perform a full-length album of “psychobilly tunes” for the horror flick Halloween 2, Dayton toured nationally with Rob Zombie’s Rock Tour. A beloved musical force, Jesse Dayton has been delighting audiences for decades with his rich voice and wide repertoire.
