Using data from hundreds of thousands of people, the Genographic Project is deciphering the migratory routes followed by early humans as they populated the Earth. New results from the project will be presented and discussed.

In 2007 the Chinese government allowed a National Geographic team headed by Spencer Wells to examine the DNA of the Tarim mummies of the Silk Road which resulted in invaluable insights into the origins of this group of people.

Parking is available in our 6-story garage located on Caroline, just south of Hermann Drive. Parking is just $5 for museum patrons and $7 for all others. In addition, some curbside parking is available near the Museum entrance and in Hermann Park.
