The Houston Astros present the Houston Athletic Committee 2011 Baseball Dinner, presented by Minute Maid, Friday, January 14, in the Ballroom of the Americas, Hilton Americas Convention Center Hotel. Honorees include Hunter Pence, Brett Myers, Chris Johnson, Geoff Blum, Barry Waters and more.

The 26th annual Houston Baseball Dinner will honor Hunter Pence, Brett Myers, Chris Johnson, Geoff Blum and Barry Waters of the 2010 Houston Astros. Honorees also include Carl Crawford of the 2010 Tampa Bay Rays and now with the Boston Red Sox, Mike Rutledge of Kyle Chapman Baseball, Anthony Rendon of Rice University, Rick Lynch of Tomball High School, the Greater Houston area's top 16 high school seniors, and the Pearland Little-League All-Stars Team.

The evening will conclude with a live auction featuring a Hunter Pence-themed auction package which includes: four (4) Diamond Level seats for a 2011 Astros regular season home game, dinner in the Diamond Club, in-game recognition and a first pitch, breakfast with Hunter Pence at Buffalo Grille and more! Opening bid starts at $2,500.

Astros Hall of Fame broadcaster Milo Hamilton once again will serve as emcee for the event, presented jointly by the HAC, Minute Maid, the Houston chapter of the Baseball Writers' Association of America, and the Houston Astros. The HAC is pleased to announce that proceeds from this annual event once again will go toward scholarships for Grand Slam for Youth Baseball program.
