    FrenetiCore presents Artist-in-Residence Che Rickman and Swings of Happiness/Mood Swings, Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 8pm, at Frenetic Theater, 5102 Navigation Blvd. Houston TX, 77011.

    Swings of Happiness/Mood Swings is a collaborative multi-media exploration of relationships, motherhood, and female identity. Through performance, video, interactive media, and a few special guest appearances, Che Rickman will take you through her labyrinth in search of happiness.

    Please join Che as she shares her crazy stories from being blue to being Happy too.

    Che' Rickman received her MFA in Sculpture from the University of Houston, and is an accomplished and recognized artist working in Houston. She has shown her work in many Galleries around the United States; and created a Bronze sculpture, The Angel of Goliad, for a State Park in Goliad, Texas.

    Through the Harris County Department of Education’s program CASE (Cooperative for After-School Enrichment), Che has taught, and is currently teaching, art classes (Sculpture, Documentary/Mockumentary Moviemaking, and Light-Painting/Photography) to children ages 5 through 18 for the past 6 years.

    Che also currently works Production Art Department for the commercial industry.

    FrenetiCore's Artist-in-Residence program, begun in March 2010, functions to support emerging and established artists in the Houston area. Participants receive technical and marketing support as well as access to free rehearsal and performance space at Frenetic Theater.
