Houston Young Artists’ Concert presents HYAC Inaugural Concerts. The most recently recognized Houston Young Artists will be in the spotlight.

Saturday, January 22 at 3:30pm and 7pm, the Houston Young Artists' Concert is hosting their annual showcase of the extraordinary talents of their stable of musicians. Every two years, HYAC holds auditions in search of talented young people ages 4-18 years old...

Houston Young Artists’ Concert presents HYAC Inaugural Concerts. The most recently recognized Houston Young Artists will be in the spotlight.

Those who are chosen earn the prestigious title of "Houston Young Artist," are awarded a scholarship, and are given many opportunities to perform. This Saturday is the first major concert for these new Houston Young Artists.

Since its inception in 1987, HYAC has inspired children to perform at peak level, giving acknowledgement to their hard work and dedication, and supporting them with scholarships now totaling over $10,000/year.

Tickets are $10/adults ($15/door) and $7/up to 18 years old ($10/door) and are available at Dowling Music and Sherman Clay Pianos.

HYAC is funded in part bym grants from the City of Houston through the Houston Arts Alliance.
