Goode's Armadillo Palace is proud to welcome Chris Brade Band. (acoustic show)

Chris Brade was born in a small town near Austin, Texas. He was raised there and his family still lives in Texas. Of course Texas is the heart of country music, and he grew up with old-time, traditional country music, performing on stage from the age of eight. While growing up, he played with the band Wild Country? Chris is a talented songwriter with many original songs, an accomplished guitarist and vocalist. He has performed on stage with a full band as well as by himself - just Chris and his guitar. His band in Texas, Wild Country, has opened for Texas Unlimited, and he has also worked the Texas Dance Hall Circuit. He auditioned for the country band Emotions, a top Texas Dance Hall Circuit band which produced the country artist David Kersh, but had already committed to serve in the U.S. Air Force. He has been in the Air Force as a Weapons Loader for 3 years, but continues to pursue his dream of writing and playing quality country music.

After completing training for his military job, he was stationed at Edwards Air Force Base in southern California. Never losing track of his true career, he joined the band Mendin' Fences, playing rhythm acoustic guitar and secondary lead vocalist. This band has been recognized as one of the best regional amateur country bands, competing in statewide competitions. While playing for Mendin' Fences, he performed at the Antelope Valley Fair, Air Force "Concert in the Park" events, as well as playing with them for a variety of local charity events. On the solo scene, he has played at the military club on Edwards to wide-spread acclaim.

He has also participated in base wide talent contests, consistently winning. In 2002, his timely solo performance of Toby Keith's "Angry American" received a standing ovation, and was elevated to the Air Force wide competition, representing Edwards Air Force Base. He won yet again in 2003 with a medley of original songs. In August of 2003 Chris and family returned to his home state, Texas. Still in the Air Force, he is now a weapons loader instructor. He continues to work on his music. Several radio stations in the Texas area, such as KASE and KTEX are playin' his tunes and in California, KLOA!

Not content with occasional performances, Chris decided to begin recording his original tunes to finally pursue his dream of being a professional country performer. His stage presence and strong voice are not overshadowed by a full band, but he can captivate an audience single-handedly, accompanied only by acoustic guitar.
