    The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Go Tejano Committee and Verizon Wireless Theater  present the 20th Annual Mariachi Invitational.

    The 20th Annual Mariachi Invitational is scheduled for Saturday March 12th, 2011 at the Verizon Wireless Theater in Downtown Houston Texas. This musical matchup begins at the Verizon Wireless Theater at 6 p.m., Saturday, March 12, as six mariachi bands compete for the opportunity to perform in Reliant Stadium. The semifinals take place in The Hideout Sunday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The mariachi competition finals on Sunday features the final two bands during the Rodeo performance.

    You might even catch mariachis roaming the grounds of Reliant Park!

    Patrons may park underground in the Theater District Parking Garage. The event parking price is $6.00. Special daytime holiday events parking price is $8.00.

    Handicapped accessible areas are painted blue and near the elevator.

    Parking entrances are located on Rusk, Capital, Texas and Prairie.

    Do you offer a valet service?
    Yes, there is valet service on the Smith side of Bayou Place (in front of Angelika Film Center and Sake Lounge). The price is $8.00 per vehicle.
