    Aurora Picture Show presents Intersections Between Science, Art and Film: Video Salon Mike Plante and Mark Elijah Rosenberg, Sunday, March 20, 1PM. Location: Aurora Video Library, 1524 Sul Ross.

    We know more about outer space than the bottom of the sea. Anyone can see into outer space and everyone wants to be an astrologer. Space travel is the defining form of modern explorers, who must conquer not only the notion of space, but literal space and time.

    Maybe that's why so many films are obsessed with the sci-fi genre. In conjunction with the Orbit (Film) screenings on March 18th and 19th, Mike Plante and Mark Elijah Rosenberg will lead a conversation on the points where science, art and film converge and influence each other’s theory and practice.
