"The Blues Brothers" is a 1980 comedy starring John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd that has become part of American pop culture consciousness. Jake Blues, just out from prison, puts together his old band to save the Catholic home where he and brother Elwood were raised. Too over the top for its own good, but ultimately rescued by the cast's charm, director John Landis' grace, and several soul-stirring musical numbers.

The Texas Archive of the Moving Image (TAMI) is an independent non-profit organization founded in 2002 to discover, preserve and make accessible, and serve community interest in Texas’ moving image heritage. The Texas Film Round-Up is a partnership between TAMI and the Office of the Governor’s Texas Film Commission to provide free digitization services for Texas-related moving images. Since the program began in 2008, TAMI has digitized over 5,000 films and videos and has added over 700 videos to the TAMI Video Library (www.texasarchive.org). The program was awarded the 2010 American Association of State and Local History’s Leadership in History Award of Merit and WOW Award.
