On Saturday, March 5th Dance Houston will present a new, all-youth dance festival at the Wortham Center's Cullen Theater. No Limits Dance Festival will be a gigantic show featuring 20 outstanding pre-professional companies in Houston.

The groups selected for this first-time festival range from award winning studio companies like North Harris Performing Arts and Kingwood Jazz & Company to junior companies of Houston's most popular troupes like Houston Met Too, The Sandlot and Wyld Styl Jr. Riot Squad. We will also feature outstanding high school dance department companies like Episcopal High School and Inertia (Westside High School).

There has always been a particular need for this type of festival. Houston is home to some of the best dance training in the nation, and the level of dance education young dancers receive here has led them to perform with some of the most prestigious companies in the world. The idea of 'No Limits' is to showcase these amazing young dancers before they leave the city to further their dance education and career. Also, these young dancers will benefit from seeing other dancers their age outside of competition, gathering together to celebrate the love of dance in a professionally produced concert.

This is the largest amount of companies Dance Houston has ever presented in one night! Other groups in 'No Limits' include Allegro West, Soul Discretion, Dance of Asian America, Anjali Center for Performing Arts, Exclamation Dance Company, Urban Soul's Jr. Company and more. Dance Houston is pleased to assemble these dancers for a groundbreaking festival for Houston's dance patrons.
