Saturday, March 19, 7pm-11pm, join the crowd of zombies, vampires, Bob Rosses, Thomas Kinkades, Arthur Murrays, Dan Browns, Snoop Doggs, Justin Biebers, and a whole host of other bloodthirsty sellouts at our campy horror-themed 7th Annual Spacetaker Gala entitled SOLD OUT, as we pay tribute to the "sellout" artists we love and love to hate. There's already a buzz about town.

This year's gala honors Houston real estate developer and long-time Spacetaker supporter Jon Deal, whose newest project, Spring Street Studios, will provide the dramatic backdrop for our over-the-top display of food, drink, music, dance, theatre, and art.

Unlike any other gala of its size in Houston, Spacetaker makes sure that the art is the focus among the revelry. More than 30 performing artists will showcase their craft at SOLD OUT. Featured on the Main Stage will be Two Star Symphony, playing snippets of their eery original soundtrack to the cinematic classic The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, the unpredictable contemporary dance-theatre of Suchu Dance, a rollicking set by local band Come See My Dead Person, and Amy Ell's VAULT dance troupe of gravity-defying masters. The Smooth Operator will spin all the right tunes at all the right times.

Other entertainment includes a Horror Salon where guests can get a ghoulish makeover by the experts from The Modern Beauty Company and a ghoulishly glam Fashion Show organized by local fashion producer Vico Puentes.

Several visual artists have jumped on board by donating a piece of their work to be auctioned off along with a number of exciting lifestyle packages at the SOLD OUT Silent Auction.
