Theatre Southwest presents the 6th Annual Readers Theatre,  a one-performance event that highlights, through the medium of Readers Theatre, the work of many of our talented local playwrights. One performance only, Sunday March 13 at 3:00 pm. Produced by Ananka Kohnitz.

Once a year we ask for 10 minute scripts from all over the country to be presented for the first time ever as Readers Theatre. We are pleased to announce our current offering.

This year we chose the best from hundreds of submissions. A select few will be presented to you on a Sunday afternoon in a Readers Theatre format. If you have never been to a readers theatre performance you need to give it a try. The plays are read by talented Houston actors and are sure to entertain.

AND, you don't just watch, you get to participate! At the end of the performances you will be asked to vote for your favorite and the author will be awarded $100.

We received scripts from all over the country for this event. don't miss your chance to be the first to hear a new work for the very first time.
