Divas World Productions presents Divas Jazz Brunch: "Songs for April," Sunday, April 17, 11am.

The perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon in April! “Songs for April” will be a truly exceptional portrayal of springtime in New York, and pays tribute to this popular American art form as well as the month that many consider to be the most beautiful of the year. It promises to be an afternoon that is entertaining, inspiring, truly memorable….and filled with the cool, soothing, toe-tapping sounds of Jazz.

Guests attending will enjoy an elegantly-prepared champagne brunch along with an “up close and personal” live jazz performance while dining ON the stage in Zilkha Hall.

Musical guests performing during “Songs for April” include an incredible line-up of renowned talent:
• Vocalists Aisha Adams, Horace Grigsby and Frederick Tuxx;
• Pianists Bobby Lyle and Dr. Dan Karp;
• Instrumentalists Clyde Adams (percussion), Derrick Lewis (bass)
• Divas World Director of Jazz, Trombonist Delfeayo Marsalis (pictured above).

Every detail of “Songs for April” will evoke the feeling of springtime in “The City”. Catering will be provided by Artista/Cordua Catering and will include a welcome reception complete with Mimosa’s and passed hors d’oeuvres, followed by a succulent brunch buffet. The sounds and décor inside Zilkha Hall will transport guests to Central Park in the spring – the perfect setting for Divas Jazz.

Due to the intimate set-up for “Songs for April”, seating is limited to 120 guests.
