Bosque Gallery Spring Student Art Show
April 19 - May 5, 2011
Don’t miss the Bosque Gallery Spring Student Art Show set for Tuesday, April 19 through Thursday, May 5.
This end-of-semester exhibition features the work LSC-CyFair visual art students have completed in their classes in a variety of media from photography, painting and drawing to design, ceramics and sculpture.
“We have many talented student artists here at LSC-CyFair whose work reflects not only their creativity, but also commitment and dedication in pursuing their artistic goals,” said Laura Fisher, associate professor of art. “Twice a year we have the privilege of displaying their work in the Bosque Gallery on our campus. These exhibitions are an opportunity for students to experience preparing their work for display and participating in the reception as well as a wonderful opportunity for the community to meet and view the work of these creative and inspired students.”
Come to enjoy the exhibition and stay to meet the student artists in person at the opening reception set from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 21.
The Bosque Gallery is located in the Center for the Arts building on the Barker Cypress campus at 9191 Barker Cypress. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday. For gallery hours and information, contact the Bosque Gallery at 832.482.1038 or go online to LoneStar.edu/bosquegallery.
