    The Foundation for Modern Music presents the 5th Annual Robert Avalon International Composers Competition, 5pm, Sunday, May 22, in Rice University - Duncan Recital Hall.

    Finalists of the 5th Annual Avalon Competition, chosen from nearly 80 submissions from all over the world, will be presented at this concert. This year’s judges include the Texas-born, internationally respected composer Christopher Theofanidis.

    Every year this Competition reveals exciting new, highly original music by both young and more established composers, and this year we expect even more!
