Houston Grand Opera's HGOco Opera to Go presents their popular bilingual adaptation of Gounod's Romeo and Juliet at Miller Outdoor Theatre daily at 11AM from May 9 to May 12.

Opera to Go! features 45 minutes of fully staged, high-energy productions sung in English and created especially for children.

Can two dreamers from warring families find the courage to love one another? Opera to Go! will present scenes from Gounod's luscious Shakespearean opera, adapted specifically for high school students with opportunities for student participation. These performances will correspond with the Spring Shakespeare requirement at most schools.

This is a free event and open to the public.

Seating under the covered awning is available on a first come, first served basis. Blankets and lawn chairs are welcome on the hill.
