In this class, we will bear witness to our creative blocks without judgment or attachment and learn reliable skills to shift them. This is not a traditional art workshop, but a highly enjoyable and restorative body-centered experience that renews our enthusiasm for healthy self-expression.

We use guided sound and color meditation to access our intuitive centers. We paint from our inner guidance, not our heads. We create a rich opportunity to deepen the meditative channels that allow us to express our creativity. No experience is necessary. This is a comment- and critique-free creative exploration. All materials are provided. We will have periods of silence; throughout the class, we encourage only necessary talk. There is time allotted for sharing. Attendees may want to bring a journal.

Please bring your lunch; snacks, tea, and coffee are provided.

Co-presenter Cherie Ray is a spirit-based life coach. Her focus is on the healing qualities of the creative process. She mentors her students to trust the benevolent teachings of creativity while creating a safe environment for the creative process to be explored and experienced. For more information about Cherie, visit www.trueyoucreativity.com.

Co-presenter Nancy Kern is an exhibiting artist whose richly colored paintings are sourced in her inquires into morphogenic and akashic fields. A Rice graduate with an MFA in painting, as well as a former midwife and CranioSacral therapist, Nancy has been bridging the boundaries between art and healing since 1980. In private practice since 1997, she gives consultations in Akashic Field Therapy. She trained as a labyrinth walk facilitator with Lauren Artress.
