August 83 - (Houston, TX) August 83 was Born from a Houston cover variety band called Spare Parts. Lead singer Linda Lambert’s extraordinary vocal prowess lends heartfelt vocals to their melodic songs. Songwriter & Guitarist, Mike Lambert’s songs are memorable & novel. Lambert’s vocals are complimented by keyboardist Jeff Ball’s sophisticated piano lines. Drummer, Dale Bankston and bassist Marco Yepez drive the band as a solid, hard hitting rhythm section and Dan Carpenter’s soulful sax is a signature part of the August 83 sound. Staci’s Edge - (Houston, TX) Playing a mixture of rock, blues, pop, and everything in between, Staci's Edge delivers original songs with catchy melodies and hard driving guitar riffs. Front girl Staci Butler writes the music that is inspired by her life experiences and reaches out to the audience with content everyone can relate to. The band formed in 2008 and the members of Staci’s Edge established two common goals: creating great music and having fun. The band also enjoys throwing in a few great cover songs that are injected with the band’s own special flavor. Staci’s Edge is influenced by Jimi Hendrix, Bonnie Raitt, The Beatles, Susan Tedeschi, and Norah Jones.

Luxurata - (Houston, TX) Luxurata was formed in the spring of 2002 and consisted of long time musical collaborators Mike Porterfield (vocals & bass) and Brian Schack (guitar), Dave Darby (drums, formerly of Ruskabank) and James Supak (guitar). The original line up changed in 2004 with the departure of James Supak and the addition of guitarist Dave Billingsley (formerly Lima Sugar). The diverse musical background of its members comes together in the unique alt-pop/indie rock sound of the band. Compositions range from sonic guitar rock to delicate melodies. This is captured in the bands first E.P. "Astronomy for Beginners" and can be seen at their regional live shows. Luxurata plans to record its follow up soon, as well as playing a multitude of live shows in a club near you.
