Learn to use breath to connect to yourself, and clear away obstacles to that connection such as anger, attachment, and ignorance. In this one evening class, students will learn Tibetan meditation practices to achieve a relaxed yet aware state of mind.

Practices include awareness of breath, visualization, concentration of the mind, and the awareness of sound as embodied energy. The growing sense of completeness one develops through these practices can then become integrated into your life and relationships outside of meditation--and can contribute to a healthier lifestyle.

Presenter Alejandro Chaoul, PhD, has been a student of Tibetan Buddhism since 1989 and has studied with His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche, and Namkhai Norbu Rinpoche, among others. He teaches for the Ligmincha Institute in various locations in the U.S, Latin America, and Europe. His is author of the book Chöd Practice in the Bön Tradition.
