Talento Bilingüe de Houston (TBH Center), in partnership with East End Barrio Association proudly presents Pocos Pero Locos, a hilarious and thought-provoking Latino comedy jam headlined by Houston’s own, John Andrew Robles and his gang of loco comedians: Mario Saenz, MarZella, Frankie Torrez, Jorge Loredo, Felipe Ramirez.  Latino comedians come together for a night of high energy fun.  A comedy jam with six locos - ONE NIGHT ONLY! (Friday, June 3rd, 2011).

This evening is for adults only and is keeping in the spirit of the comedy nightclubs one would find in Los Angeles or New York.

    About the Comedians:
    John Andrew Robles
(WRITER/ COMEDIAN/ ACTOR) John Andrew Robles woke up at the age of 55 and decided to become a Comedy Writer, Stand-Up Comedian and Actor. John Robles joins the ranks of Latino comedians out there today like George Lopez, Gabriel Iglesias, Paul Rodriguez and Anjelah Johnson. His rough style and raspy voice are reminiscent of old school blue collar comedians like Robin Harris, Redd Fox and Richard Pryor. John's perspective on life is unique, and he has material that few of the young comedians are going to be able to generate.

Mario Saenz: A rising star on the comedy circuit who has performed in Los Angeles and Houston for the past decade, he is well known for his impersonations and parodies of popular culture. His video clips are among the most viewed online.

Frankie Torres: This comic is popular for his one liners and crowd interplay.

Felipe Ramirez: Known for his biting commentary on political issues ranging from Middle East to obesity, Felipe is a fixture in the Houston comedy scene and has performed all over the US.

George Loredo: A raw new talent who makes his home in Houston and is tearing up the comedy circuit. He is embraced by all cultures and is a rising star.

MArZella: She has performed in clubs in Miami all the way to Los Angeles. MarZella’s aggressive style is unique, at times shocking and memorable.
