    Summer Symphony Nights:  Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphony

    The Houston Symphony, and Miller Outdoor Theatre present Summer Symphony Nights:  Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphony.  For more than 60 years, the Houston Symphony has brought the thrill of live performances to patrons at Miller Outdoor Theatre.

    The Houston Symphony, and Miller Outdoor Theatre present Summer Symphony Nights:  Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphony.  For more than 60 years, the Houston Symphony has brought the thrill of live performances to patrons at Miller Outdoor Theatre.

    The ExxonMobil Summer Symphony Nights series at Miller Outdoor Theatre features new guest conductors and popular classical pieces like Beethoven and Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphonies and Leonard Bernsteins’ Symphonic Dances from West Side Story. Concluding the series will be the Symphony’s annual 4th of July concert, Start Spangled Salute, featuring the 1812 Overture complete with booming cannons and a fireworks display.

    Admission is free for these concerts, but tickets are required for the seated area.

    Tickets:

    All performances at Miller Outdoor Theatre are free. However, this event does require tickets for the covered seated area.

    Free tickets are available (4 per person over age 16 while they last) at the Miller Outdoor Theatre box office the day of the performance between the hours of 10:30am-1pm.

    If tickets remain at 1pm, the box office will re-open one hour before show time to distribute the remaining tickets.

    As always, open seating on the hill.
