The Dosey Doe Coffee House and The Woodlands Children's Museum present the Ima Hogg & The Great Ostrich Race Brunch & Show Fundraiser, Sunday, May 15 at 2pm. Come support the museum and watch this fun play written by Margaret McManis and enjoy a delicious brunch. Fun for all ages! Meet the author during the book signing.

Conroe resident and published author, Margaret McManis, had no idea that her Louisiana roots would branch long and deep towards Texas where she would write a book about the infamous Ima Hogg. But this is exactly what happened to McManis with a brief stop to complete her Master’s Degree in Children’s Writing at Vermont College studying under Erick Kimmel. Now, her book, Ima & The Great Texas Ostrich Race will come to life May 15 as a fundraiser to be held at Dosey Doe in The Woodlands benefiting The Woodlands Children’s Museum.

The play will be a Sunday Brunch Theatre experience at Dosey Doe and all proceeds will go towards The Woodlands Children’s Museum, a 501(c)3 nonprofit agency.
