It will be the definitive jam session of the summer when Theatre Under The Stars’ Humphreys School of Musical Theatre presents FREE performances of Disney's Camp Rock: The Musical at Miller Outdoor Theatre June 8 – 10, 2011 at 11:00 a.m.

This new musical based on the hit Disney Channel Original Movies Camp Rock and Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam features a large, talented cast of local students from the TUTS training academy. With a perfect blend of pop and rock music, Camp Rock: The Musical guarantees to set the stage on fire with songs like “This Is Me,” “Can’t Back Down,” “It’s On,” “We Rock” plus many more!

“We’re excited to bring a popular, pop-rock musical that kids of all ages will enjoy and best of all – it’s free!” said Rozie Curtis, director of Camp Rock: The Musical. In addition to the free performances of Disney’s Camp Rock: The Musical, Radio Disney AM 1590 will be onsite each day at 10:00 a.m. to entertain the crowds with a pre-show “Rockin’ Road Show” with fun games and prize giveaways.

For the young musicians attending Camp Rock, their summer was supposed to be all about the music and having the time of their lives. But the new and flashy Camp Star across the lake now threatens Camp Rock’s very existence. To keep their doors open, Mitchie Torres steps up, rallies her fellow Camp Rockers, and gets them into top shape for the ultimate rock-n-roll showdown!
