2011 American Festival for the Arts Summer Concert Series presents the AFA Student Chamber Music Recital, Friday, July 15, 2011, 7:00 pm, at Pershing Middle School.

Piano, string, woodwind, brass, and percussion students from AFA's Chamber Music and Piano programs join together for a series of three chamber music recitals. Enjoy performances by every kind of small ensemble, from string trios to woodwind quintets to percussion ensembles as they demonstrate the intricacies of the art of chamber music.

American Festival for the Arts (AFA) was founded in 1993 by Houston composer J. Todd Frazier to provide accessible, high-quality music education and performance opportunities for youth and to broaden the audience for both new American works and the standard classical music repertory.
