    Jesse H. Jones Park & Nature Center presents Reptile Open House, Saturday and Sunday, June 18 and 19, 1-4 p.m.

    From the largest pythons to the smallest frogs, the nature center is packed with displays of live reptiles and amphibians from around the world. Learn more about these fascinating creatures and their natural history. Park staff members will answer reptile-related questions throughout the day.

    And  Saturday, June 18, at 10 a.m. don't miss Snakes of Harris County. Only a few of the local snake species pose any threat to humans. Attend this program to learn about the snakes that inhabit this area and how to properly identify them.

    All ages.
