Bring your favorite homemade pie and your handwritten recipe and favorite pie story.  Share your food, share your stories.  And enter to win:  1st Place $200, 2nd Place $60, 3rd Place $40.  Welcoming all pie traditions, sweet or savory:  Samosa, Calzone, Quiche, Empanada, Crisp, Crumble...

Peace Through Pie:  Become a Pie-Oneer for Peace, one piece at a time. Peace Through Pie, a grassrooots peace movement, promotes the pie social as an expression of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr's legacy of "Beloeved Community," where everyone shares a piece of teh pie at the table of brotherhood. Pie, and age-old comfort food in many traditions around the world, symbolizes inclusive equality with its circular form and diverse ingredients.

Soul of My Food: Soul of My Food is a Round 34 exhibit at Project Row Houses, by RootDown Htown.  The exhibit calls on cooks, chef, and novice alike, to contribute your food traditions. Come share and enjoy recipes related to soul food either by culture, ingredients, or the art of imprivisation.
