Christmas in July has never been cooler! Join Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS) on Sunday, July 17, for 'White Christmas ' in July as 16 thousand pounds of snow falls from noon to 2 p.m. at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts (800 Bagby St).

Escape the summer heat under a blanket of freshly fallen snow for a holiday treat like no other with free photos with Santa, snowman building, and other holiday-themed delights. Attendees will have a chance to win discounts on tickets and other prizes in a money machine that is sure to excite with the sights and sounds of swirling prizes!

Held in celebration of TUTS’ productions of Guys and Dolls and Irving Berlin’s White Christmas, the event marks the on-sale date for tickets to these spectacular classic shows. TUTS’ own dazzling productions of Guys and Dolls and Irving Berlin’s White Christmas are part of TUTS’ 2011-2012 “Seeing Is Believing” season. 

Running September 27 – October 9, 2011, Guys & Dolls promises to “Rock The Boat” with sizzling scenery, dazzling dance numbers and an unforgettable love story – you can bet on it!  Irving Berlin's White Christmas, playing December 6-18, 2011, is a classical holiday musical the entire family can enjoy that serves as the perfect framework for the presentation of Berlin’s hit songs “Blue Skies,” “Count Your Blessings” and the title song, “White Christmas.” TUTS’ 2011-2012 Season offers delightful variety including comedies, family favorites, stage classics and smash-hit new Broadway musicals: Guys and Dolls, Irving Berlin’s White Christmas, Bring It On: The Musical, Annie, La Cage Aux Folles and The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas.
