Rounding Third introduces us to two coaches — one a veteran (Andy Midkiff), the other a new recruit (Gregory Magyar) — and their markedly different personal circumstances and philosophies about the all American game. Their clash of styles and wills drives this funny, acerbic and touching play...

This play, which contains strong language, reflects the passions, the joy and the pain that fills the heart of any person who has ever loved a child who was competing for anything, from sports to spelling bees to talent shows. It also embodies the ability to channel the voices of real people.
