    Building Cities, Building Futures

    The City of Houston, the Houston-Galveston Area Council, and the Center for Houston's Future, in partnership with the National League of Cities, invite you to Building Cities, Building Futures, on Thursday, July 14, from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Houston Hotel.

    The City of Houston, the Houston-Galveston Area Council, and the Center for Houston's Future, in partnership with the National League of Cities, invite you to Building Cities, Building Futures, on Thursday, July 14, from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Houston Hotel.

    Building Cities, Building Futures is a national tour with a local focus on using sustainable infrastructure as a catalyst for economic competitiveness. The event will bring national experts to Houston and discuss solutions to pressing infrastructure issues with local leaders during a day of keynotes from national thought leaders and industry experts, facilitated discussions and best practice review.

    Speakers Include:
    Former Governor Edward G. Rendell, Co-chair of Building America's Future
    John D. Porcari, Deputy Secretary of Transportation, United States Department of Transportation

    Parking: Hyatt Regency Houston offers several parking options for our guests' convenience:

    Overnight Valet Parking: $22.73 per night. Includes taxes and in/out privileges

    Self-Parking: $16.00 per day. This is a city-owned parking lot next door to the hotel. No in/out privileges.

    Limited parking for eight vans, maximum, is available in the hotel valet parking. All other vans, as well as motor homes and vehicles over 9' should park in the self-parking lot.
