Society for the Performing Arts presents Huey Lewis and The News - Soulsville, at 8 pm, Thursday, October 27, 2011, in Jones Hall, as part of the SPA Specials.

Their greatest success was in the 1980s with the number-one album, Sports, coupled with a series of highly successful MTV videos. Their worldwide fame expanded when the song “The Power of Love” was featured as a key track in the film Back to the Future and was nominated for an Academy Award.

As great a recording career as the band has had, it’s their live performances that remain the stuff of legend.
