Society for the Performing Arts presents The Tiger Lillies - The Gutter and the Stars Tour, at 8 pm, Friday, November 4, 2011, in Wortham Center's Cullen Theater, as part of the SPA New Now Series. Co-presented with DiverseWorks ArtSpace.

SPA audiences saw The Tiger Lillies in 1999 with the Houston debut of Shockheaded Peter and again in 2002 with the performance of Holy Body Tattoo. See the post-punk pioneers when they return to Houston for The Gutter and Stars Tour featuring a whole host of new material, as well as some of their earliest recordings.

The Tiger Lillies recapture the spark and energy that set them off on the journey which lead to them become one of the foremost avant-garde bands in the world.
