Gift of Gift of (GOGO) and Spacetaker present the Gift of Gift of 2011 Exhibition & Vote Party, Saturday, August 20, 7 – 11 p.m. at  Spacetaker ARC (2101 Winter Street, Studio B11, Houston, TX 77007).

Join Gift of Gift of for its second annual Exhibition & Vote Party, an event in which photographs are exhibited for the consideration of collective purchase, to be offered as a donation to a major collecting institution. Event attendees receive a set number of votes with the purchase of event tickets. Attendees then vote on which of the exhibited artworks they think should become part of a museum's permanent collection. Those artworks with the highest number of votes will be purchased with the pooled funds.

This year, 18 pieces were selected from 114 submissions from across the world. In addition to a few local Houstonians, this year’s selection includes artwork from Russia, the UK, and Canada. This year, the photographs purchased from ticket sales and other pooled funds will be purchased and donated to the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.
