JalaWorld Productions presents Love Is... A stage play.  Two shows, 3pm & 7pm, Saturday, August 27 at the Chinese Community Center. A story about a group of friends and their ordeals with relationships, love, and intimacy.

Malik James- is a talented and upcoming music producer that’s living his dream. Things couldn’t be better; he has the world in the palm of his hand. His only downfall… is that he has a weakness for the ladies… unfortunately all the wrong ladies. After dealing with gold diggers, users, and stalkers he is definitely burnt out on love, until he meets a certain poet. Once again Malik thinks he has found “The One”; until his ex returns to town. Is he strong enough to resist temptation or will he allow his past to ruin his chances at an everlasting love?

Dru Jones-a poetic diva. Dru is the perfect package, beauty, brains, and a good heart. She can have any man she wants and she decides she wants… Malik the man with constant drama. Will Malik’s attraction and need for chaos bring her heartache?

Kennedy Mitchell-gives a new meaning to the word she-devil. Just the mention of his ex’s name makes Malik break out in a cold sweat and send him into a tailspin of confusion. Kennedy definitely keeps Malik hanging from a string. Will he finally be able to cut the ties?

Keith Davis loves fast cars and fast women. Unlike his best friend and business partner Malik, the last thing Keith is looking for is love. Just the thought of committing to one woman makes him breakout in a cold sweat. Keith feels as long as he’s honest with the ladies; there’s no misunderstandings and no hurt feelings. He gets what he wants and they get what they need. Everything is perfect until his free-love ways come back to haunt him.

Jada Stevens-a sexy vixen that uses her body to get what she needs…to fill the void of loneliness. Jade has no limits, whether is married men or the same sex she’s willing to do it all. She lives off of passion, one night stands, and sexual escapades. Will her wild bedroom activities be her downfall?

London Sims- is a songbird that craves stardom and fame. London has the drive, motivation, and the talent to become the next big star in the music industry. She’s willing to sacrifice anything and anyone to reach her dreams including her marriage. In London’s eyes her husband Dante is only a road block on her path to stardom.

Dante Sims- is London’s devoted and caring husband. Dante loves London with all his heart. His marriage means everything to him. He tries over and over to stand by London’s side, but soon grows tired of her selfish ways. Will he continue to play the role of a faithful husband or fall under another woman’s spell?
