Verizon Wireless Theater presents Chris Tucker. Popular comedian Chris Tucker has announced he will launch an 18-date national standup comedy tour, produced by Live Nation. The tour kicks off on August 19th in Long Beach, California and winds down November 26th in Oakland, California at the Paramount Theater.

Chris Tucker rose to fame as a standup comedian on Russell Simmons' Def Comedy Jam. He went on to star as “Smokey” in 1995's classic movie “Friday.” Since then, Chris Tucker has become one of Hollywood's most sought-after actors starring in comedies like “Rush Hour,” "Rush Hour 2" and "Rush Hour 3" with Jackie Chan.

He has also starred in hit movies like "Dead Presidents," "Money Talks" "Jackie Brown" and others. According to "Friday's" director, Ice Cube, he is willing to produce a another installment of the series, but only if Chris Tucker reprises his role as "Smokey."

"That’s my dream. I hope so, I even want Chris Tucker in it," Ice Cube told AllHipHop.com. "I think that’s what everybody wants to see. They want to see all of us together, I’ve been campaigning trying to put that together, I’m going to keep campaigning until the idea is so old nobody wants to see it."

Patrons may park underground in the Theater District Parking Garage. The event parking price is $6.00. Special daytime holiday events parking price is $8.00.

Handicapped accessible areas are painted blue and near the elevator.

Parking entrances are located on Rusk, Capital, Texas and Prairie.

Do you offer a valet service?
Yes, there is valet service on the Smith side of Bayou Place (in front of Angelika Film Center and Sake Lounge). The price is $8.00 per vehicle.
